I Was Expecting A BET Awards Nomination – Pataapa Reveals
Singer cum rapper Patapaa has admitted he was looking forward to see his name in the 2018 BET nomination list.
According to Patapaa, he was expecting to be part of the Best International Act for Africa but unfortunately he wasn’t aware of the processes involved hence the reason he failed to make the nomination list.
Patapaa Speaking on a phone conversation he said he thought it was all about having a worldwide hit, thus, expecting to see his name because he was the world’s toast when he released his ‘One Corner’ song.
“I was expecting my name in the 2018 BET nomination list but is unfortunate I didn’t know what the process was. I thought it was all about having a world wide hit, Pataapa ignorantly disclosed.
Patapaa however added that, he thought he had automatically proved beyond doubt for a BET nomination because of his hit song which was featured on a lot of chats in Africa
“I think there is a personal connection with organizers both here in Ghana and outside so I will work on that”
