Just yesterday 9th December, 2017 around 5:00pm, The Vice President of Ghana paid a visit to Kumaca Senior High School in Kumasi about the recent instant outbreak of the Pandemic H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu) disease which has now currently killed 11 Students and leaving 45 in the Hospital.
The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia, pleased the Parents of the deceased to take heart even though it is not as easy but to let go soonest and give it all to God Almighty to do the rest for he knows what is best and reasons for the loss.
The Vice Prez. continued by advising the Students and their parents to stay in the school,and the Community to avoid the wider spread of the disease to other cities until the Health Sector has fully confirmed the Safety of the Students and great results in the eradication of the disease in the School and it's vicinity.
He ended it all by giving each Deceased Parents an amount of Ghs5000 to help in the funeral arrangements and preparation involved.
The Parents thanked the Vice President, the Government and the whole nation for sharing hearts and Prayers with them during this tougher days. They also agreed to cooperate with the government and the health sector in eradication of this disease at all cost.
