Opportunity often comes disguised
in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat, but this misfortune has
caused a colossal havoc to the toiled efforts of the ever patriotic
company, Dblex Productions.
Dblex Productions; a Movie/Music Production, and an event organising and
planning Company, which through creativity sees to actualize lofty
goals, designed a laudable youth empowerment program purposely for the
2017 SHS graduates dubbed "GRIND AFTER SCHOOL WITH THE STARS" which was slated for 20th May, 2017.
The terrifically hyped event which had some celebrities with the likes
of Bill Asamoah, Strongman, Emelia Brobbey, Papa Kumasi, Frank Naro,
Sherry Boss and a host of other celebrated Public figures and Resource
Persons as Headliners was to be climaxed with a Pool Party at Sports
Hotel.
The prior motive for organising the said event was to bring these
graduates under one umbrella, nurture and educate them on how to carry
themselves decently after school in order to attain a proficient future
and also become assets to the nation and the world as a whole through
entertainment.
"Hatred is corrosive of a person's wisdom and conscience; the
mentality of enmity can poison a nation's spirit, destroy a society's
tolerance and humanity, and block a nation's progress to freedom and
democracy."
It is very pathetic that some Ghanaians cheerfully take delight in
denting the credentials of their own brothers without fear or panic.
A particular nude picture of an UNKNOWN young lady on one of our promotional artworks WE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT, disseminated suddenly on social media without the cognizance of the organisers(Dblex Productions).
In the blink of an eye, the said controversial nude artwork had caught
the attention of GHANA TOURISM AUTHORITY and the GHANA POLICE SERVICE
hence the abrupt cancellation of the program.
Moreover, the Ashanti Regional Police caused the arrest of the organisers for further investigations.
Upon interrogations, the truth that, we had no hand in that picture
transpired, hence the release of the organisers from the police custody.
The authorities have spoken and we can't violate their orders.
