In 2013, she spelt out her ideal man in one of her hit songs – Rock My Body- and four years on, it appears the eccentric songstress, Noella Wiyaala, who is considered a tomboy, has found her perfect match. The musician, who is hardly seen in public with any man apart from her manager, John Sherren, has over the years been rumoured to be dating her British manager.
When asked on Onua FM to set the record straight on whether the two have something going on between them, Wiyaala responded with a line of that hit track: “…if he is ugly, if he is old, if he is young, I don’t mind. He is a nice man, I like to date him.”
Her heartwarming response touched the panelist on the show and triggered spontaneous applause from them but Wiyaala did not end there as she threw the question back at her manager.
Wiyaala: Would you like to date me John?
John: I have always wanted it to be a mutually beneficial relationship
Wiyaala: Would you like to date me John, yes or no? Everybody is here, if you don’t answer I will feel bad.
John: Yes
An elated Wiyaala then told Sherren to get a ring, cola nut, schnapps among other stuff that will be needed for their traditional wedding.
