MzVee, Joe Mettle For 'Artistes of the Year’ With No Songs Nominated

Gospel act, Joe Mettle and songstress, MzVee, are two of the nominees for the Artiste of the Year category with no songs of theirs nominated in any other categories.

The other nominees – E.L. Sarkodie, Medikal and Stonebwoy, all have songs nominated in other categories.

The category definition for the Artiste of the Year category states that;

“The Artiste of the Year is the Artiste(s) adjudged by the Academy, Board and the General Public as the Artiste(s) with the highest audience appeal and popularity. The Artiste(s) must have released a hit single/album during the year under review.”

The no-show of Joe Mettle and MzVee in other categories, especially for song classification, means, they had no hit tracks for the year under review. 

The Big Question is, How Can this Be Possible?
